Just as you don't have to be Ronaldo to enjoy soccer, you don't have to Michael Phelps to enjoy swimming. Not only that, but I believe you can enjoy it more than these sporting heroes of ours. Swimming is not just about competition, it's about relaxation, good exercise and above all loads and loads of fun. How many of us go swimming more than a hand full of times a year, not a lot I suspect. I believe its time to really promote swimming as an activity which offers lots to a lot of people. Young people, elderly people, people with disabilities, less sporty people, very sporty people, pregnant women and so on.
