Johnny Reid is an interesting dude. Born in Scotland he emigrated to Canada as a teenager and then went on to attend University in Quebec. He lived in Toronto and has recorded in Nashville, where he now lives. Add to this a heavy Scotish accent and you got a new Canadian country singer. Yeah. |

The intensity of every hit and the power of all his motions can be captivated with this: awesome. He is adored by baseball fans the world over for his sportsmanship and dedication to his craft. If there's one word that he appreciated and accepted whole-heartedly was the word hero. Mickey Mantle knew in his heart that he deserved the title. |

Seeing this play is a reminder of my college days when I enthusiastically read just a small snippet of the intense dialogue that was Willy Loman's, the tragic main character in this Arthur Miller drama originally penned in 1949. I was also able to see it when Judd Hirsch masterfully claimed Willy as his own self, touring North America in the late 90's. So much to live up to Soulpepper. |
